Detective Howard Charles Marshe is called in to investigate the murder of the matriarch of a semi-aristocratic family.
His sidekick Arthur Arthers was born in 1928, now aged 18, he is employed by HCM as his secretary. Arthur is sexually inexperienced and suffers from fighting sexual thoughts and the legal laws of that time. He is attracted to heterosexual men and doesn't really understand his feelings, but fears what would happen if his feelings were exposed.
There is a plethora of family members and servants. Can you solve the case before HCM does? Will young Arthur get sexual satisfaction?
