 Dreams Volume 2 –

Stevie’s Story

Bisexual men, gay men or straight men? Do straight men turn gay? These themes are addressed in this work of bisexual fiction.

“Dreams” is a five volume gay novel. Each volume is a separate short novel in itself, independent of the others, but collectively, they build up a picture of events, recounted from different points of view.

Generally, the “Dreams” novels are slower paced than some of Richard Peter’s work. They are sensual and romantic pieces of gay fiction, which some would describe as homosexual pornography. Is this a contradiction of terms? Can homosexual porn be sensual? Can gay pornography be romantic fiction? You judge for yourself.

Each volume includes a remarkable, erotic, gay dream sequence for each of the various main characters.

In Volume 2, "Stevie’s Story", we read heart aching descriptions of a young man discovering his homosexual side, after rejection by his wife. The story tells of his infatuated love for a straight young man. This is one of Richard Peters’ recurring themes about "straight men" who want gay sex.

The story tells of a man going "off the rails" as he struggles to come to terms with his homosexuality. He careers from one casual relationship to another. He falls in and out of love, but all the time he pines for the one love he cannot have – the love of a straight man.

"Dreams – Volume 2 – Stevie’s Story" also contains a remarkable dream sequence of a young bride's surrender of her virginity to her new bridegroom. But is the "bride" really a woman? In dreams anything is possible!

Can there be some sort of psychic connection between people? In this five-volume novel the main characters are all drawn to each other by some strange magnetic course of events. On the same magic night, they all have deeply vivid erotic dreams.

Events are described by different characters, as the author explores their different experiences of events and how they each misunderstand each other.
