 Wrong!

A story of Sex and Religion

A Story of Religion vs Temptation

A member of a Christian off-shoot religion befriends a new potential convert. This is a story of religious aspiration and sexual desire, where a fervent member of the church battles with his virginity and his attraction to males.

In this story, Richard Peters examines how strongly the sexual drive can control a person, even to the point of asking whether a person is willing to sacrifice the chance of ultimate spiritual attainment for sexual gratification.

Is the sexual drive stronger than religious hope and belief?

While this is a serious examination, the novel "Wrong!" still rattles along with deeply explicit homosexual scenes that should satisfy readers while, at the same time, give cause for reflection about the power of the sexual drive.

"Wrong!" is a profound study of the hope of immortal spiritual bliss versus the desire for mortal physical ecstasy.

This is one of Richard Peters’ more serious novels, but deeply homoerotic, with explicit homosexual scenes and accounts of same sex attraction.

Extract:

I got to interact with Eddie quite a bit, but I found myself attracted to him inappropriately. His rugged haircut offset an obviously cute face. With longer hair, he would have been soft and gorgeous, but his stubbly head made him more macho and all the more attractive to me.

I prayed to God constantly to cast out my unwanted fascination, but every time I next saw him I felt my heart leap and my eyes stray over his handsome face, his tight shirts that showed off his curved chest and his slightly muscular thighs inside his jeans.

Extract:

I was enjoying the frank conversation about sex and penis size. Eddie, as well as being physically, devastatingly attractive to me, was also showing an attitude which made me feel liberated. Father Paul's teachings about sex suddenly seemed terribly restricting. I supposed it was worth it to achieve Enlightenment and Salvation. But I did wonder if Eddie, before he got initiated, could introduce me to low-morals women and help me lose my long-outdated virginity. Maybe I could have a fling before Eddie realised it was forbidden.

"Hetero, homo, bi, they are just words. People are sexual, full stop. Especially men. Sex is basically skin on skin, rubbing, sliding, juices, tongues, in and out, and swooning climax. That's what men need and want. The gender of the other is secondary. Chuck and I preferred women, but out at sea, well, sex is sex, man."
